Project Hardware Design Leader

Based at Gepps Cross in Adelaide and reporting to the Head of Offer Development, we have an opportunity for an agile and innovative Project Hardware Design Leader to join our high performing Buildings Business.

You will provide leadership to the Product Development team in the execution of projects and be responsible for the design of new electronics hardware products whilst supporting and maintaining the hardware design of existing products.

Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be key to your success:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design of complex analogue or digital electronic hardware 
  • Previous experience as a technical lead on projects
  • Experience in the design of embedded software in ?C? 
  • Current experience with low power microprocessors such as MSP430 and 32-bit ARM microprocessors
  • Knowledge of designing hardware for industrial regulatory standards
  • Experience in end to end development with successful commercialisation of a product
  • A degree qualification in Electronics Engineering 

Whilst not essential, experience in designing products that include dimmers, switches and shutter controllers will be highly regarded.

You have excellent communication skills and a strong team focus; you thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment and enjoy working on multiple projects with diverse stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.

You are highly organised and manage competing priorities well; an effective problem solver, you enjoy the challenge of identifying or creating solutions.
