Pacific Zone Regional Segment Leader - Mining

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Segment Leader to join our strategic mining segment organization in the Pacific Zone. If you have deep experience and knowledge in the Mining segment and the ability to further develop and grow our energy management business we would love to talk to you. This is an executive role that requires developing deep customers relationships and insights, articulating clear account and industry strategies, identifying business opportunities and supporting your team’s efforts in successfully closing deals. 


We are looking not only for a strong Business Leader but also an Industry Thought Leader who can provide industry insights and articulate market movements. You will be the main connection between target Strategic Accounts and the Schneider Electric Business and Country organizations to secure collaboration, alignment of focus and allocation of resources. 


You already own critical C-Level relationships in the Mining Segment and have credibility and walk-in rights with key customers. Creating relationships of trust, longevity and intimately understanding customers business strategy and levers has been the key to your career success thus far. You have a passion for growing talent to ensure we have right level of competencies and expertise to meet business ambitions


Key Success Indicators for this Role:


• Grow the Mining Segment business regionally, drive performance and deliver on profitable growth targets
• Boost C-level engagement, demonstrate credibility & maximize share of wallet
• Bring specific segment thought leadership & highlight growth opportunities
• Take part in local segment associations and promote our value propositions
• Partner with Schneider Electric Leadership around growth opportunities and market insights in the Mining Segment
• Be an integral member of the Pacific Zone Leadership team building strong relationship and collaboration
• Develop Segment Regional talent - Lead and develop knowledge capability of key sales team
• Identify targeted accounts and secure stable and competent resources (via handshake process)
• Implement account plans and tactical plans for strategic and targeted accounts
• Identify and develop the key channels to market across the complete segment
• Build the event/communication cadence to coordinate within COE Communities, Countries and Segments 
• Be the ambassador of the segment value proposition, promoting and developing local capabilities
