What is the role?

Based in contemporary surroundings in our Macquarie Park location, invitations are now open to those wishing to pursue a 12-month FTC as a Field Support Agent. A diverse role, primarily you will provide field support and chargeable services for Schneider’s Smart Space automation products to our end users and partners. 

The core of this role is the provision of Level 3 technical support, seeing you leverage your understanding of home and building automation (electrical & lighting) together with providing site audits for extended warranty, and get involved in small works projects as required.

 
Key responsibilities will include: 
 

  • Maintain positive relationships with customers (internal and external)
  • Ensure open communication and maintain positive working relationships within the business
  • Build trust, credibility within the business by providing quality and timely technical advice
  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  • Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organisation
  • Service existing accounts by analysing work orders, planning a daily travel schedule, reviewing concerns, conducting tests, and resolving problems.
  • Design, customise, create and deploy automation solutions for partners on site
  • Customer consultation, site readiness preparation, start-up monitoring, assist and training
  • Conduct on and off-site training to internal and external customers
