National Sales Specialist – Digital Services

Our Field Service business provides 24/7 servicing for an impressive and extensive portfolio across three verticals, covering every sector imaginable including; mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations. 

EcoStruxure is Schneider Electric’s IoT enabled, plug & play, open and inter-operable architecture platform. Within this platform is Asset Advisor, which protects critical electrical equipment through smart monitoring, alarming, remote trouble shooting and expert data-driven insights, delivering 24/7 real-time visibility and live data directly to mobile devices.

We have a critical newly created entrepreneurial opportunity for a sales superstar, based in Sydney and reporting to the Field Service Sales GM. By leveraging the vast experience of our business managers, sales teams and digital field services architects, this role will drive market penetration through the promotion of our digital solutions portfolio. Success will be measured by securing market share, sales and a solid future pipeline of service contracts. 

Instrumental to success in this role will include the following attributes;

  • Demonstrable success and solid tenure in selling innovative digital solutions

  • Technical tertiary qualifications with a technical background

  • Experience in developing and delivering against short, mid and long-range plans and sales strategies for growth 

  • Relevant knowledge and experience in a field services environment their customers, their buildings and systems 

  • Exposure to Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure, MMM, O&G, Cloud & Service Provider segments

  • Client focus, strong listening skills and confidence delivering pitches of enterprise scale solutions

  • Experience in developing cost/benefit methodologies when presenting and closing opportunities

  • Understanding of IIoT, Cybersecurity and ideally, Schneider Advisory/Digital offers, LV/MV switchgear, VSDs and Secure Power offers

  • High level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate and influence
