National Business Development Manager - Service Plans & Agreements

Our Field Service business provides 24/7 servicing for an impressive and extensive portfolio including; mining, hospitals, utilities, data centres and just about everything in-between. We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations. 

This role is a national sales specialist role, responsible for maximising orders and sales, profitability and customer satisfaction within the service contracts and service plan portfolio nationally for the Power Systems install base which includes LV/MV switchgear, transformers etc and the Secure Power & Cooling business which includes UPS, Computer Room Air Conditioning, Chillers etc. 

The aim, through the provision of subject matter expertise and dedicated portfolio management, will be to aggressively accelerate the growth of service agreements. This growth will include new contracts whilst maintaining high rates for renewals of existing contracts and will include; maintenance agreements, digital service plans and associated high value add specialized services such as consulting, auditing, asset connect and pro-diag™  services. 

As a national sales specialist, you will work seamlessly across a large array of service sales representatives to train, enable and influence their sales into a targeted existing customer base. Success will be measured by securing market share and sales and future pipeline of service contracts.

Success in this role will require the following attributes;

  • Demonstrable success and solid tenure in selling innovative and profitable service solution agreements

  • Electrical trade or tertiary qualifications complemented by business studies and a technical background

  • Experience in developing and delivering against plans and sales strategies for growth Solid knowledge and experience in a field services environment the customer base and their challenges 

  • Client focused, strong listening skills and confidence delivering pitches representing national sales agreements

  • Demonstrable experience managing turnkey projects or sales processes including tendering 

  • High level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate and influence
