The ITD business forms part of Schneider Electric’s Field Services team. Based in Sydney this specialist role is responsible for the development, execution and growth of UPS systems servicing and business strategies in the region.


Whilst we do not want to narrow the field, we do believe that critical to success of this role will be; solid experience with mission critical field services activities, a current Australian electrical license is essential, as is the ability and willingness to undertake occasional travel to NSW regional locations and to be part of an on call and after-hours work roster.


Specifically, you will demonstrate;

  • Extensive installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and repairs of UPS systems as well as ancillary equipment both in the workshop and field as appropriate
  • Solid experience of detailed ISX solutions assembly
  • Extensive UPS systems start up commissioning experience and expertise
  • A successful track record of service sales follow up and lead generation activities
  • Familiarity of ongoing operational / lifecycle maintenance of Schneider and third party install base equipment
  • You will demonstrate a strong level competence and comfort in the delivery of customer training


That’s the technical stuff, but equally critical is your energy, motivation, flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required, focus on customer satisfaction, highly developed written and verbal communication skills, passion for innovation and ability to work effectively within a great team environment.
