We are now calling for a Digital Evangelist who shares the vision for this future and who can help bring this to life for our customers. This role will animate the Digital Buildings people, place & technology approach and drive the IoT revenue target nationally in collaboration with Schneider Electric (SE) Digital Buildings end user and EcoXpert sales/pre-sales teams. 


As an experienced Digital Evangelist, you are curious and passionate about technology, have a thorough knowledge in the opportunity and the challenges faced by organizations that are looking to deploy, operate their building & business applications, involving both IT and OT platforms and systems. You will have both a business background that enables you to engage at the c-suite level, as well as a sales background that enables you to engage a dual go-to-market channel strategy. 


We believe that the following attributes and experience will be key to your success:

  • To own and meet expectations for the Digital Buildings IoT opportunity, and any financial targets and associated KPIs;

  • Accountable to deliver on IoT Strategic Marketing initiatives in alignment to the EcoStruxure for Building solutions and respective digital offers;

  • Listen to and inform peers within SE, and SE?s EcoXpert partner network about the IoT opportunity and SE?s compelling solutions to support the need for digitized buildings;

  • Recruit alliance partners to collaborate with SE on IoT solutions and architectures; 

  • Uncover and support IoT related opportunities together with SE?s EcoXpert channel and end-user sales teams;

  • Champion thought leadership, education, solution development and sales enablement to drive SE?s IoT solution portfolio into key target markets;

  • To drive the Digital Buildings - IoT initiative, by educating internal and external key stakeholders to fully comprehend our value proposition;

  • Build a strategic business development plan, ensuring it's in line with the Digital Buildings organisation?s strategic direction;

  • Lead sales development efforts that best addresses end user and partner requirements.

  • Tertiary qualification/s in Business; Commerce; Science or similar is essential and an MBA would be looked upon favourably.

As our preferred candidate, you have strong commercial sensibility with the ability to influence c-suite decision makers, coupled with strong analytical skills will be key to your success. Your creativity ability is high, communication skill exceptional, and your experience within the Buildings/IT landscape has you regarded as the trusted advisor in equal measure.  The ability to think on your feet, whilst consulting and listening is also an essential requirement.
