Senior Liaison Assistant – Part-time, Start in February 2020


This role is part of the Economic Group, which is responsible for analysis of economic trends, forecasting and research relevant to the framing of monetary policy.

In this role, you’ll participate in the Regional and Industry liaison program and undertake related analysis to enhance the Bank’s understanding of regional and industry developments.

Major responsibilities:

  • Participate in the liaison program through attending meetings, taking notes, processing information received and writing timely and accurate diary notes of the meeting
  • Conduct analysis of regional and industry issues, including of qualitative information arising from liaison and the broader interests of Economic Group
  • Identify efficiency improvements across the operation of the liaison program & regular reporting
  • Where required, manage the Office meeting schedules, co-ordinate liaison visits and functions

Skills and Experience

  • A degree or equivalent in economics, finance or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in analysing economic and/or business developments
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and database concepts
  • An ability to prepare written reports and make presentations with clarity
  • An ability to work towards tight deadlines and high attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal and strong communication skills
