Relationship Credit Assistant Manager


  • Support the Corporate Agribusiness team to prepare detailed financial, business and industry analysis reports for the customer base.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of superior customer service
  • Take responsibility and leadership in proactively suggesting areas of improvement to the wider teams

 

About The Role

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Schedule: Standard hours
 

You role is to undertake research and analysis function on a portfolio of accounts in supporting the total relationship team.

 

The Relationship Credit Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for managing risks in clients’ business model and industry. You are also responsible for identifying and managing risks inherent in the client’s capital and management structure, and emerging performance results.  The primary activities of the role cover:

 

  • Client/asset/project performance and risk evaluation ad mitigation strategies
  • Undertake quality credit analysis including preparation of financial monitoring diary notes and credit memorandums
  • Conduct financial analysis and industry research as required
  • Liaise with client and Credit on risk and financial performance related matters, including covenant compliance and risk grade review events
  • Liaise with credit executives on an on-going basis
  • Deal documentation
  • Well Managed portfolio controls including annual reviews and delinquency management
  • Assist Relationship Credit Manager to complete the broader credit assessment function 

 
About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated financial analysis skills going beyond traditional accounting based analysis
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, identify key business drivers and mitigate key risks and make recommendations where appropriate
  • Sound communication skills and strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, strong client handling and interpersonal skills and knowledge of a significant range of ANZ products and services
  • Preference for previous corporate/institutional/agribusiness lending experience
  • Preferred industry experience and awareness
