The role will see you responsible for:

  • Provides support to the Manager Risk & Insurance by coordinating the recoveries administration, data collection, recovery follow-ups and general workload reporting processes;
  • Undertakes detailed investigations and proficiently demonstrates the ability to make liability decisions.
  • Assists the Manager Risk & Insurance with activities across QUU to effectively implement strategic asset recovery mechanisms;
  • Reviews asset recovery documentation to ensure the validity of all information provided, that correct forms are utilised, and that all relevant information has been captured;
  • Assists the Manager Risk & Insurance by ensuring all QUU’s Policies and Procedures are followed during the asset recovery life cycle;
  • Assists with procedural management of asset recovery data through expert file management system;
  • Contributing to the preparation of submissions, briefs and notes on complex policy issues including board submissions.

We are interested to hear from individuals who have a great sense of humour, a keen eye for detail, and show empathy in the work they do. You will have demonstrated knowledge in an insurance environment that has involved you proactively handling claims, with an understanding of relevant legislation and framework that supports asset recovery and claims processing. The application of your analytical mind to problem solve, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service will see you successfully achieve goals in this position.
