A great opportunity is available for a positive, experienced, and motivated Cloud Engineer with strong technical leadership and exceptional communication skills.  As a Cloud Engineer you will play a key role in Cloud technology domain running Cloud initiatives for Qantas, you will be in the driver’s seat to have a huge impact on our organisations usage of technology and overall agility.

You’ll have –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant field
  • An understanding of running applications in a pure Cloud environment such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud
  • A passion for DevSecOps
  • Experience in DevOps automation engineering
  • Strong development experience in one or more programming languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript etc
  • Hands on experience using Docker
  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools
  • Demonstrable knowledge in fully automated Infra-As-Code deployments
  • Logging & event management tools such as Splunk, Appdynamics & DataDog
