Join PwC's Actuarial team as a Senior Consultant and work on a wide variety of projects, including: social policy modelling and analysis, providing advice to injury schemes, banking modelling, insurance analytics, audit and due diligence.

The Actuarial team brings this to life by applying mathematical, statistical, economic and actuarial techniques to analyse a wide range of future uncertain events, consulting to both businesses and governments on long term planning in an environment of uncertainty.
 
As an Senior Consultant your impact will be seen by providing technical input into projects which you work on, as well as owning and driving the account relationship plan to ensure key relationships continue to grow and expand.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and delivering on a wide range of concurrent actuarial and multidisciplinary assignments
  • Interacting with clients, often as the main point of contact
  • Quantitative data analysis and modelling using statistical techniques
  • Present analysis findings in reports and presentations and communicating them to non-technical audiences

About you
The brief is simple...
 
You will be a Part / Newly Qualified Actuary with at least two years relevant actuarial work experience. Strong analytic and data skills, high proficiency in excel, VBA and knowledge of SAS are all considered fundamental attributes for the role. You are people-focused, motivated to succeed, results orientated, analytically minded and commercially astute. You have excellent communication skills, are passionate about what you do and thrive in a team environment.
