As part of Clients & Strategy, within Priority Segments, the Account Development team supports the iconic and priority account Client Lead Partners (CLPs) and teams to provide them with important knowledge, skills and behaviours to deliver an exceptional experience to our most important clients.

Portfolio Managers are assigned to PwC’s most important portfolio of accounts as a dedicated resource to ensure that our clients consistently receive exceptional service and attention. They are an integral part of the account team, working with the CLP and other account leaders to deliver value to the client, grow revenue, build important client relationships and support the broader account team.
As the NSW Government Portfolio Manager, your impact will be seen your impact will be seen by your ability to work in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines, while managing a variety of stakeholders, and excellent project management and organisational skills.

You will be responsible for:

  • Account planning and management including helping develop strategies for maintaining and growing the relationships and revenue on the account and maximising PwC’s potential to maintain and win business across the NSW Government account portfolio, including a focus on select sub-accounts as required.
  • Establishing and driving an account operating rhythm including regular account team meetings, gathering, sharing and actioning of client feedback and pipeline management.
    Working with the account leadership on profitable growth efforts.
  • Providing support to strategic pursuits and proposals including helping to manage the tender process from distribution of initial request to win/loss debrief.
  • Working with the central NSW Government Account Manager to manage the BAS rates framework and monthly reporting process.
  • Owning and managing the relationship with Procurement.
  • Owning and driving the account relationship plan to ensure key relationships continue to grow and expand.
  • Assisting with the identification and distribution of thought leadership, events etc to assist with relationship development.
  • Account related internal communications; budgeting and performance reporting.
  • Leveraging insights and propositions from major accounts across the Firm (industry or geography) to drive pipeline and opportunities.
  • Connecting with the Firm Agendas, Business Imperatives and Industry strategies to identify opportunities and connections for the account.
