About the role
PwC is re-imaging business in the Digital Age. PwC Enterprise Digital is responsible for designing and building custom products for some of the world's largest companies. Our team of technical account managers and software engineers work to develop solutions that harness PwC's expertise to solve our client's problems.
 
With the exciting roll out of our Enterprise Digital offering, we are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join us in transforming the way our clients work. Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement new user-facing features.
  • Build the libraries and frameworks that support large, complex web applications
  • Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high powered desktop computers to small footprint mobile devices
  • Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.

About you
We are looking for engineers who can bring a fresh perspective and are continually seeking to innovate. As a Full Stack Developer, you specialise in building new-generation products that push the barriers of technology. The work is challenging, fast paced, and always changing. You are a blue-sky thinker, with an unwavering commitment to quality and cutting edge coding skills. You should live and breathe the fundamentals of JavaScript (not just jQuery), CSS, and HTML.

  • +3 years of software development experience
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with web technologies (object-oriented JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and experience with the latest web standards including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience with Node.js is preferred
  • MongoDB, SQL and AngularJS / React is beneficial
  • Preferred mobile application development experience. (e.g., Ionic, Cordova, Swift)
  • Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
