Join PwC’s managed services team as a Commercial Specialist to work on an exciting engagement with one of our key clients.

As a commercial specialist within the Managed Services team, your impact will be evidenced by your professional contributions and the robustness of the commercial arrangements that you create and manage which may include leading small teams or carrying sole responsibility for delivery. You will work closely with the clients managers as well as the operating management of Managed Services, typically on client sites.

  • Experience with negotiating and managing complex long-term contracts and sub-contracts in a technical environment
  • Experience leading  subcontract development plan, supplier negotiations and contract formation activities
  • Experience overseeing or directly delivering development  and coordination of supplier development plans
  • Experience working closely with Project Management and/or Engineering Leadership to ensure their organisations needs and requirement are properly supported
  • Experience working with  the Financial Project Control teams to coordinate financial and procurement commitments
  • Experience Working with the Operations/Production organisation to ensure that production schedule, operational and sustainment requirements are met.

About you
The brief is simple...

  • BS in Engineering, Commerce or Accounting, MBA desirable
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Commercial, Project Management, Financial Control or Supply Chain Contract Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial management/subcontract management
  • Experience in a Commercial or Procurement organisation in a defence contracting environment
  • Familiarity with Defence procurement regulations and commercial requirements
  • Must be an Australian citizen and able to hold a security clearance. Baseline acceptable, NV1 preferred
