About the Role

This role links directly links into AGL’s commitment to Social Licence and the investment made into programs aimed at supporting our most vulnerable customers and communities.

Reporting into the Affordability Manager, you will have the responsibility of managing and delivering various programs and initiatives under AGL’s Affordability Energy Literacy program.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive the project management of various initiatives which are focused on supporting AGL’s most vulnerable customers. Current initiatives include: helping hardship customers access renewable energy (solar & battery), increasing customers energy literacy and working with trusted community partners to delivering educational programs for disadvantaged customers
  • Assess potential and existing initiatives against the program objectives
  • Lead a small project coordinator team responsible for supporting the delivery of initiatives
  • Ensure that project deliverables are delivered on time and on budget
  • Drive regular stakeholder meetings and forums to provide updates on program progress
  • Effectively collaborate and engage across internal and external businesses to drive program initiatives
  • Management of the financial budget and relevant reporting

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Proven experience in a project management role where you have delivered sizeable programs of work end to end
  • Previous experience or an understanding of the credit, payments or hardship operational environments
  • A passion for leading people and creating a high performance culture
  • The ability to manage and influence across a diverse stakeholder group
  • Experience in dealing with community based, not for profit or government departments will be well regarded
  • Excellent budgeting and forecasting capability
