Procurement Specialist - Real Estate

Based at Macquarie Park in Sydney and reporting to the EAJPI Regional Category Manager, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join our team.  
Responsible for the leading and implementation of effective and efficient strategic sourcing opportunities, strategies and synergies with respect to; systems, processes, and category management for Real Estate indirect procurement. 

This position is also seen as the internal SME providing best practices on; managing vendor risk, performance and relationships, in addition to meeting regulatory requirements, aimed at achieving targeted financial benefit.

Specific areas of responsibility will include but not limited to:

  • Strategic Sourcing and Category Planning 
  • Procurement Life Cycle Management
  • Business and Stakeholder Management
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Benchmarking and Reviewing Industry & Category Best Practices
  • Financial Planning and Reporting

Whilst not wanting to narrow the field, we do believe that the following will be key to your success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management
  • Whilst a solid track record in Real Estate procurement is essential the focus will be on the Real Estate transactions (managing relation with International Property Consultants (IPC).
  • Team player with solid experience in cross-functional project leadership
  • A strong understanding of commercial Real estate leases, and extensive experience negotiating with landlords and suppliers.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position would suit someone from a large facilities management organization or in-house Real Estate
