Philip Amos Consulting is seeking a talented tender writer for our consulting services specialising in the health, disability and community service sectors.

Important to Know

  • The business and Principal - Philip Amos – are based in Brisbane
  • We use virtual and online IT platforms to consult with clients in all States and Territories of Australia
  • Our team members live in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne
  • You will work from home, with occasional client visits
  • For this role, our preference is for a person from Brisbane, but candidates from Sydney will be considered
  • We pay well and entrust our team members with a high degree of flexibility over their work hours
  • The successful candidate will be employed on a casual basis with the opportunity to progress to permanent part time or full time subject to performance
  • You can expect to work 15 – 21 hours per week with flexibility to do more to meet deadlines

Philip Amos Consulting is a management consultancy founded eight years ago with a growing group of clients spanning some of Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations, Primary Health Networks, and community health organisations.

Due to increased demand for our consulting services, we are looking for a talented and motivated tender writer that will have the opportunity to grow and develop in the role. You will be responsible for developing content, business plans and project proposals on behalf of our clients.

We have built a reputation in our area of expertise for producing quality documentation and uncompromising customer service and integrity. You will join a growing team dedicated to high standards and exceeding our client's expectations.

About the role

The role would suit a motivated person with public sector or health and community services business experience.

Knowledge of government funding and contract management for health and community services is an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing tender parameters to develop proposal strategies and themes
  • Working with clients to identify and develop tender content
  • Applying analytical frameworks to tender proposals
  • Reviewing, editing, and developing tender responses through to completion

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social science, commerce, health or relevant discipline
  • Outstanding written and communication skills
  • Reliability and flexibility to complete work to immutable deadlines

Highly regarded

  • Knowledge or training in tender assessment frameworks and analytical tools
  • Previous experience writing tender applications, business plans, or similar documents

Candidates in Brisbane are preferred. Candidates from Sydney will be considered depending on skills and experience.
