We currently have an opportunity for a Strategy & Business Development Manager. This is a senior business partner who is charged with driving key strategic projects to accelerate growth and increasing market share. Here is an opportunity where you can make key decisions on our portfolios, where we invest and where to dilute, identifying import opportunities, creating distribution partnerships, and identifying M&A targets. The role requires someone with strong financial acumen, an experienced problem solver, strong influencer, and strategic thinker who can successfully work as a team player within multifunctional and multidiscipline teams, sharing knowledge, contributing proactively to achieving team goals and providing coaching and guidance to other team members.

In this role you will:

  • Drive key strategic projects with a focus on accelerating topline growth and declining stem share
  • Identify business growth opportunities including:
    • Importing associated PepsiCo on non-PepsiCo products from abroad
    • Creating potential distribution partnerships through business development
    • M&A targets
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other leaders, facilitating decisions on investment priorities
  • Analyse, collate, and produce competitive intelligence to support decision making on strategic investment opportunities

You will have:

  • Strong financial acumen from granular P&L understanding to sophisticated financial modeling
  • Mergers and Acquisition experience (essential)
  • Experience in managing large scale, multi-initiative programs, typically exceeding $10MM in annualised benefits
  • A proven track record of delivering major projects on time, on budget, and to required quality standards
  • Ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues, and develop strategies for delivering solutions
