Inventory Controller - Multipack, WIP & Third Party Co-Packers

We currently have an opportunity to join our Multipack team as an Inventory Controller – Multipack, Work In Progress (WIP) and Third-Party Co-Packers. This will be a full-time, fixed-term contract, dates from August 2020-October 2021.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have split responsibilities of Inventory Control of the Multipack Warehouse and the Third-Party Coordination of Co-Manufactures’ Goods.
Inventory Control – provide effective support in data maintenance monitoring and accurate inventory levels in SAP Repetitive Manufacturing (SAP RM) and Warehouse Management (SAP WM) Systems.
Third-Party Coordination of Co-Manufacturers’ Goods – deliver target stock levels of the co-manufactured goods to ensure sales growth with high service levels.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure stock levels are correct of all WIP products and Raw Materials held in the Multipack warehouse and at Co-Packers.
  • Support Multipack material inventory management, assisting Multipack team with maintenance and reconciliation tasks within SAP WM system and monitor inventory management processes in line with documented business control standards. This will include reconciling variance analysis and consolidating of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory discrepancy transactions in SAP with the correct approvals. Ensure daily, weekly and period-end reporting is completed as required.
  • Manage all Third Party/Co-Manufactured SKU’s; maintaining target stock levels on site to deliver sales plan and high service levels.
  • Work closely with Supply, Warehouse, Distribution and Vendor Replenishment Planners to execute the deployment of stock transfer orders.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of inventory and distribution processes as well as knowledge of effective warehousing or the interest and ability to develop these skills.
  • Excellent computer, analytical and numerical skills with knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
  • Ability to influence through well-developed communication skills and build strong working relationships cross-functionally.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities and use sound judgement to act as a customer interface and solve problems.
  • Ability to implement improvements and initiatives to reduce levels of slow-moving stock.
