Assistant Brand Manager - Red Rock Deli

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing Team. The successful person will help develop, communicate, and deliver the annual strategy for our Red Rock Deli (RRD) portfolio. You will also assist in managing and implementing plans on specified product platforms across the full marketing mix for the Red Rock Deli brand including innovation, activation, and communications in order to deliver profitable business growth.

We are looking for someone who has had at least the past 2+ years in the Australian FMCG market working closely with brands from concept to execution. Someone who can work with a high level of autonomy in driving the portfolio with great internal visibility.

This is a busy and exciting role and offers the right person a unique opportunity to contribute to and shape the future of market leading brands. We are looking for a confident and creative individual with the ability to influence, and the passion to champion this portfolio and create high engagement within the business and our consumers.

In this role you will:

  • Support the RRD Senior Brand Manager to deliver 3 year marketing plans
  • Drive brand growth through analysis of market data insights
  • Develop and execute product and packaging innovation
  • Engage, communicate and influence other critical business functions
  • Deliver key brand presentations to deliver total business engagement on marketing plans
  • Assist with a clear social media/digital strategy for the activation of key campaigns within the portfolio
  • Effectively manage budgets and deliver performance reports
  • Manage key relationships with packaging/research/media/creative agencies
  • Ensure all projects are driven through the StageGate process in an effective, timely, and thorough manner

You will have:

  • Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
  • Minimum of 2yrs in a marketing, sales, or customer service position in the Australian market
  • A degree in a relatable field (marketing/business preferable)
  • Basic Financial acumen and P&L understanding
  • Experience in leading digital, social media and sampling campaigns
  • Skills in data analysis to gain insights for business decisions
  • The ability to think strategically and analytically
  • Strong marketing planning & organisational skills to effectively manage and execute multiple projects
  • Good interpersonal skills with experience in developing strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to be highly organised yet adaptable to changing circumstances
  • Creativity to identify alternative approaches and solutions
