What you bring:

We are looking for individuals who have an appreciation for technology with a blend of sales and customer service experience. Relationships are important to you and you are highly energised by talking to people. You are motivated to reach your sales targets and bring a positive attitude to the workplace.

Sometimes your clients will require your innovative and creative problem solving to find the right solution and service for their needs. Your strong communication and rapport building skills will contribute to your success as an effective and collaborative teammate.


Your role will be to contact small and medium businesses in order to sign up new merchants to join PayPal as a partner. You are the merchant’s one point of call and will support through integration until they are live and running. Work off a lead list and generate your own leads through market analysis and learning about market trends and competitors.

Snapshot of a typical day:

  • Warm and cold calling of merchants via your lead list and self-identified leads
  • Energized pipeline management with a focus on growing revenue
  • Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Building your pipeline and signing up merchants to PayPal products
  • Displaying consultative selling skills and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders
  • Researching market trends, opportunities and competition to support your sales pitch delivery
  • Continuing to learn about products, industry changes and sales knowledge
  • Getting involved in other projects around the team and wider business
  • Working within a high volume, target driven environment
