Welcome to The Greens, an eatery, bar, café, garden and rejuvenated bowling green with spectacular views of the city skyline and the harbour. We are also one of the businesses within Norths Group. 
 
Our dining offering is modern, funky and fun, with an emphasis on delicious contemporary food and cocktails. We offer both smaller share plates and substantial main dishes that are wholesome, fresh and innovative. The Greens is a premiere venue that is well known for delivering food on a level that consistently surpasses the expectations of all those who dine with us.
 
The role
 
We are currently seeking casual Event Team Leaders to join our fun yet professional Events team. Reporting to the Manager on shift and Event Manager on shift you will primarily be responsible for event operations and having a strong focus on exceptional customer service. 
 
Key Responsibilities and Duties will include:
 

  • Meet & greet clients
  • To ensure setup, service, and sequence is in accordance to client expectations and according to established procedures
  • Assist in supervising all operational aspects of the department
  • Setting up and packing down of the events
  • Food & Beverage service
  • Lead, train and mentor the food and beverage attendants
  • Drive service excellence by being a true role model
  • Monitor and action improvements based on customer feedback
  • Communicate effectively with Kitchen department in regards to requirements

 
To be successful in this role you will possess:
 

  • Flexible with working hours; days, nights and weekend work
  • Previous experience in functions
  • Current NSW RSA & RCG
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to empower others and set goals
  • Excellent knowledge of food and wine
  • Passion for creating high standards of excellence
  • Exceptional interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude no matter the situation
