As the engine of the Media & Sport Business, you will drive effective time management, prioritisation and follow through for the Managing Director of Media and the leadership team.

About this role
In this role, it is essential to drive alignment across different business functions, think quickly and act decisively in a fast-pace environment. You are an excellent relationship manager to constituents across teams and functions. You know the importance of confidentiality and you see value in providing simple things like coffee during back to back meetings all the way to organising key leadership events for the business.

One of your most valued assets will be your initiative and ability to solve the problem after the problem. Your other key skill will be understanding the leadership teams mission and how to ensure that the right people are getting time and attention when it’s important. This role has the potential to drive opportunities into many areas of the NIelsen business and is seen as a valuable entry point to the business or a stable long term role for someone who loves the supporting role.

Given the complex nature of the business there needs to be a strong attention to detail, follow up of actions from meetings, travel bookings, organisation of key events, offsites, client events, training events and thinking ahead for ways to empower the leaders to multi-task and efficiently make use of time are key.

About you

  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the Media (and/or Sports) industry landscape
  • Strong in project execution, interpersonal relationship and communication skills
  • Outstanding organisation skills, with strong attention to details and accuracy and handling high level of confidentiality matters
  • Able to provide assistance support to the Managing Director and the leadership team
  • Able to work independently, proactive in resolving problems
  • Knowledge of G suite Applications
