Network Services Officer


Currently we have opportunities for two Network Services Officers to join our team at Coliban Water, within our Water Division. Your core responsibilities will include undertaking reactive water / sewer network operations and maintenance tasks as required by the client. As such, you will be required to provide general labour and plant operating skills in the repair of water and sewerage assets and other associated network maintenance activities.

To be successful in this position you will be required to complete maintenance tasks and rectify faults effectively in a timely manner, whilst working cooperatively with all internal stakeholders meeting contractual targets in responding to and assessing all unplanned works.

Daily duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Rectification of sewer or water faults within a timely manner.
  • Monitoring and resolving any customer and / or general public issues while on site and implementing appropriate action.
  • Demonstrating commitment to Quality Management principles, OH&S and the Environment.
  • Lead and/or assisting in the completion of jobs through mobile field computing / paperwork.

Ideally you will have experience in civil excavation and repair techniques in the water / sewer field. You will also hold one or more of the following; MR or HR Truck Licence, Excavator Licence, Confined Spaces Ticket, Traffic Management Ticket.

Experience in CCTV, water / sewer rectification systems and drain cleaning would be an advantage.

You will demonstrate computer literacy. You will be client focused, well organised, a strong communicator and have demonstrated ability to work within a team environment to achieve goals and objectives within a project driven environment.
