Your Opportunity

Reporting to the Operational Customer Manager, an excellent 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced Export Planner has become available in our Distribution Centre based in Altona. Managing export activities for our Nestle Health Science business, you will be part of collaborative, high performing and close knit team and will be responsible for:

  • Planning of Container Loading in order to meet vessel cut off
  • Organise vessel and Container bookings with Freight Forwarder for Export Containers
  • Organise Export Documentation for Freight Forwarder
  • Communicate plan with Freight forwarder
  • Update database
  • Create, amend, and manage PO’s as required
  • Coordinate airfreight shipments
  • Running of all necessary TLB’s ( Transport Load Builder )
  • Ensure all stock to be exported has been received into warehouse
  • Liaise with Operations as necessary to ensure loads picked in time for loading
  • Providing support to the team and acting as back – up to Senior Export Planner during periods of leave (possible requirement to work 5 days during cover period)

About You

With 2+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast paced dynamic environment, this role will suit an Export Planner who is results driven, resilient and creative problem solver. Calm under pressure and the ability to “think on your feet” will see you succeed in this role. You will also have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and have high attention to detail. A strong team player, you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working towards a common goal. Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills and SAP experience are both advantageous.
