We currently have an opportunity to join the Confectionery team as the Category and Channel Manager, responsible for medicated and baking portfolio. Both medicated and baking are in market leading positions with iconic brands such as Butter Menthol, Soothers and Nestle Bakers Choice.   The consistent growth of our brands is largely due to the innovation and expertise of our Sales, Marketing and Category teams, who ensure our market-leading products have a prime position on supermarket shelves across Australia.
 
This role is primarily responsible for leading the category strategy and execution development through both convenience and other growth channels. You will be specifically responsible for: Strategic category planning, channel identification, prioritisation and investment strategy, applying cross-commercial acumen in understanding and maximising shopper insights in the development of category strategies for execution in our customers’ stores. Flexing your ability to analyse market, category, customer and shopper data, you will develop strategies that will see growth through leadership with our customers. Building relationships at all levels within our business, you will develop effective point of purchase initiatives and leverage support for your strategic direction of our snacks and dairy portfolio.
 
Essential to success in this position is a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a customer facing role and extensive commercial capability through: Demonstrated account management, Demonstrated strategic business planning & implementation skills. Financial acumen and awareness. An ability to analyse data, develop insights and recommend strategy. The ability to influence cross-functional teams to build, agree and execute a solid growth oriented strategy.
