Your role in the future:

We are looking for a hands-on Regulatory Advisor to join our friendly Regulatory Strategy team in a fixed 12 month contract. In your new role, you will use your strong regulatory and analytical skills to provide detailed analysis, advice and support to help manage nbn’s regulatory obligations, with a particular focus on nbn’s approach to key policy reforms such as universal service obligations and consumer safeguards, as well as issues that arise from nbn’s deployment of its network. This will include providing guidance and education on the requirements of nbn’s regulatory obligations and helping influence regulatory change.

A bit about you:

Ideally your background will include several years’ regulatory experience or the equivalent, preferably supported by formal qualifications in Law, Economics or Political Science. Experience within the telecommunications industry, or another heavily regulated industry would be highly regarded. You can demonstrate your strong analytical and report writing skills, as well as your ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is your forte. On a personal level, you have superior influencing and relationship skills, and can build rapport quickly with key internal and external stakeholders.
