The Project Manager, Workforce Evolution is responsible for the successful delivery of workforce change projects across nbn from concept through to transitioning the change to BAU, and ultimately to deliver the expected outcome. Typically working closely with the Program Manager, the successful Project Manager will need to navigate complex organisational environments as they are deployed to workforce change projects as required across nbn. They will be working closely with the core HR team and the business to ensure the enterprise frameworks for workforce change are utilised and the appropriate governance is applied to each program, including feeding into the central program governance forums.

The role is hands on and will be expected to manage the workforce change process and tools including detailed project plans; perform assessments and reviews; and, report on progress.

A bit about your role

Outlined below are the core duties that the Project Manager, Workforce Evolution will be responsible for delivering:

  • Project Management for workforce changes across different stakeholder groups, using the nbn workforce change framework from concept through to transition to BAU, including evaluation and post implementation review for WE-related changes.
  • Provide trusted business partner support to business owners and key stakeholders within nbn, establishing strong relationships across HR, Change and Workforce Evolution functions.
  • Continuous improvement of project management practices and processes within the Workforce Evolution Program, adopting ownership of initiatives and driving them through to conclusion.

A bit about you

This role requires practical experience of driving workforce change (restructuring; transformation, M&A, divestment etc.), a planning mindset, advanced analytical skills, excellent influencing skills, business acumen, and experience handling sensitive and confidential materials. Strong writing, presentation and verbal communication skills are critical. This role will be required to work as part of the core WE program team, as well as autonomously with a networked team.
