Your role in the future:

The Network Operator role is responsible for providing great customer service while investigating and resolving network issues. We are looking for proactive talent who are passionate about the nbn mission, and come from a problem-solving framework. The role is to resolve issues raised by answering calls, tickets, emails, and all other interactions from the customer to the highest quality.

You can contribute to:

  • Order management and delivery of services on multiple networks
  • High quality of customer service provided to customers
  • The delivery of high volumes of customer services
  • Activation and testing of Ethernet services
  • Configuration of customer’s services on multi-vendor networks
  • First call resolution approach with follow up, service recovery, and escalations within designated guidelines

A bit about you:

The position requires experience in customer service within the telecommunication industry or similar. To be successful in this position you will have been a part of a Customer Service environment with experience in areas including:

  • A minimum of one year as a Customer Service Representative / Operator
  • Excellent problem solving with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and third party stakeholders
  • A strong telephone presence and the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Tech-savvy and motivated to learn about nbn technologies – Previous telecommunications experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, take initiative, work independently, and challenge the status quo
  • Driven to succeed in a rapidly changing environment
