Data Operations Lead - Business Segment

The Data Operations Lead – Business Segment is responsible for the management and maintenance of regular and ad hoc reports as well as the development of requirements for longer term reporting solutions. The role will work closely with other analysts, developers, systems delivery groups and stakeholders to design, develop and maintain reports, dashboards and tools that provide insights of key operational and business metrics.

A bit about your role

You will take the ownership of reports and tools developed and ensure they perform as required, in order to help the various business functions and stakeholders to deliver the required information and assist informed decision making at a various management level. Your contribution is also around investigating and working with the EIM Business Intelligence team to perform data discovery and investigate data quality issues as and when they arise, further develop the capability of the Tableau and Alteryx reporting platforms as well as external data sources by supporting reconciliation and acceptance of system data sources.

You will also be leading and managing a small team of 2-6 analyst.

A bit about you

You would have experience working with a good combination of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau applications (Alteryx is nice to have), and other reporting tools for preparing regular and ad-hoc reports. Experience in working with addressing data and geospatial tools is highly desirable. Ideally, you have demonstrated strong capability in mentoring and coaching other team members to be able to take the leadership role.

Your strong capability in prioritization, working with ambiguity and managing a diverse group of stakeholders will be very appreciated in this role.
