Due to expansion of service, opportunities exist for Contractor Occupational Therapists for our CTP Case Management and NDIS teams servicing the Sydney Metro area (will consider other NSW regions).

Duties

About us:

Momentum Rehab was established in 2004 as a specialist rehabilitation provider to the CTP Insurance Industry. In the last 10 years we have expanded to provide Community OT services to the Aged Care and Disability sectors, becoming an NDIS registered provider when the NDIS came into being. Due to popular demand, we are seeking suitably qualified and experienced OTs to join our high level team serving the Sydney metro area and immediate surrounds. We welcome OT’s to apply from other NSW regions for consideration.

About you:

  • You are a registered Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 5 years of clinical/case management experience.
  • You are a sole trader, registered company or willing to obtain an ABN and is able to work with business acumen as a contractor.
  • You are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and assisting individuals to live as independently as possible and achieve their life goals.
  • You are focused on achieving positive outcomes and adding value.
  • You love the idea of working autonomously and flexibly from the comfort of your own home – yet want to be committed and connected to the Momentum Rehab team with access to the support and expertise of our friendly and approachable OTs.
  • You are well organised and can manage your time and workload efficiently.
  • You are well presented and have a friendly and approachable manner and love working as part of a well- established professional team.
  • You are a well rounded professional who is open to being accountable and mentored
  • You are motivated to provide high level customer service

Our CTP roles involve:

  • Conducting ADL and RTW assessments and intervention as appropriate
  • Providing high level written reports in accordance with Reasonable and Necessary criteria
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders in an efficient manner
  • Operating professionally within SIRA guidelines and our Insurance customer expectations

Our NDIS roles involve:

  • Providing professional services to participants in accordance with the NDIS Practice Standards
  • Providing thorough assessments for Complex Home Mods, Assistive Technology (eg. Seating, beds, pressure care), Independent Living and Supported Independent Living in accordance with Reasonable and Necessary criteria
  • Preparing succinct and clinically justified reports in line with NDIS expectations
