Our mission at nabtrade is to make Australians better investors. The role of Manager Digital – UI Designer will be the leader of digital customer experience across web and mobile channels. Day to day you will

  • Develop and define SDW Digital Design Principles and Standards
  • Deliver UI designs and prototypes that align to customer/business objectives
  • Support and guide technology teams in design implementation
  • Facilitate and execute customer testing to measure customer efficacy
  • Day to Day design activities (marketing, proposals) to support ongoing business activities
  • Provide professional and ethical behaviour in your actions by ensuring compliance with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to role

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work in a fast-paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment and have the following:

  • Demonstrated experience in consumer digital products UX/UI design and customer testing
  • Strong technical capability and experience in design toolsets (Sketch, Adobe, Invision)
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills coupled with a strong attention to detail
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to resolve problems, identify causes, anticipate implications, make informed decisions
  • Financial Services industry experience is preferred
  • Proven experience and capability with HTML5, CSS and Java frameworks would be highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or industry accreditation
