The Opportunity

Passionate about consistently providing a positive customer experience for all our members throughout their journey with us, the retention marketing team is committed to delivering engaging communications. To continue delivering this high standard we are now looking to for a Member Engagement & Retention Manager to join our highly regarded Marketing team. Responsible for the development and execution of multi-channel campaigns (eg. eDM, DM, digital, phone and retail) across a number of key initiatives, you will be accountable for contributing to and implementing the Engagement & Retention strategy.

Managing a small team and reporting to the Member Engagement & Retention Lead, other key responsibilities include: 

  • Utilising key insights and analysis to develop new campaign ideas to implement via a test & learn approach that capitalise on market opportunities & generate additional revenue growth, engagement and retention;
  • Working cross-functionally to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of retention initiatives;
  • Initiate and support contingency plans and remedial actions as required ensuring targets are achieved; and
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure the team effectively delivers on activities to support retention.

About You

With an impressive expertise across engagement, loyalty and retention concepts and with a proven track record in high volume customer retention strategy implementation, you will be able to conceptualise complex commercial variables to deliver fantastic outcomes. You will have an enthusiasm for creating a vibrant customer experience that emulates the Medibank way while inspiring and supporting those around you. You will have demonstrated experience in leading a team to strive for better performance even when goals are already met and comfortable working with ambiguity and change. Experience or exposure to Salesforce will be highly regarded.
