Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) is an independent international medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters.

Médecins Sans Frontières Australia and New Zealand has a diverse digital marketing program that encompasses donor acquisition, donor retention, and brand awareness.

The position provides support to the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist and sits within the Direct Marketing team.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in contributing to the digital strategy and implementing campaigns across display advertising, paid search, social media, email marketing, content management and creative development.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience producing engaging content with skills in online writing, editing and

    proofreading along with an exceptional eye for detail.

  • Proven success implementing best-practice email marketing techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare reports and presentations for internal

    stakeholders.

  • Experience using Google Analytics to draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work to short timelines and deliver effectively to deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and contribute in a team environment.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

    Job Description

Duties

  • Participate in planning and delivering the digital fundraising strategy to enhance MSF acquisition, retention and raise funds through digital channels.
  • In coordination with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, manage the digital budget to propose activities to maximise effectiveness of the digital budget in delivering KPIs.
  • Campaign tracking, optimisation and reporting that provides actionable insights that can guide marketing strategies.
  • Produce content for supporter communications and marketing campaigns across key digital channels including email, display, search and social media. Content production includes copywriting (for online and selected offline assets), image and video editing and landing page creation.
  • Manage email campaigns across various donor segments. This includes data management, eDM design and set-up, A/B testing and regular reporting on email marketing performance.
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital trends, strategies and best practices.
  • Proactively engage in training and development opportunities.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks to support the objectives of the fundraising team and contribute positively to team cohesion.
