We are seeking a National Project Administrator to join our internal Finance Team for a period of 12 months in our Sydney office. Acting as the first point of contact for client service staff, you will be responsible for establishing projects within the firm’s operating systems, billing, accounts receivable and answering project related queries.
This role is part-time (30 hours per week), to be worked across 4 or 5 days between Monday and Friday.
Core duties include, but are not limited to:
Project creation and maintenance – ensuring accurate project setup and administrative maintenance of projects across the firm’s project register;
Project billing and ad-hoc billing – responding to billing queries, assisting with preparation of invoices (where necessary) and preparation of ad hoc invoices;
Accounts receivable; responding to accounts receivable queries from client service staff and carrying out daily accounts receivable tasks, including allocation of receipts;
Contributing to various month end processes; and
Additional ad hoc administrative duties as required.
To be successful in this role you will possess strong Microsoft office skills, particularly within Excel, and have an understanding of accounting principles related to professional services (including unbilled WIP and debtors). Experience in working with accounting systems and previous exposure to Microsoft Dynamics AX is will be highly valued.
As an individual, you will be able to work autonomously, with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload appropriately. You will be committed to delivering a high quality of work in your role as a support to client service staff, communicating well and building/maintaining rapport with colleagues across all levels.
