Our teams role is to meet the home lending requirements of CBA Small Business, SME and Corporate and Regional & Agribusiness and 3rd party referred customers. Whilst also assisting with the clients day to day banking needs.

You will lead the team managing opportunities referred via 3rd party channels, which includes pre-deal support. Your team will have a significant impact on the P&L outcome of the Home Loan Portfolio by helping to ensure that we leverage our 3rd party channels to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and brokers on their Path to Property.

Further, you will play an integral role in developing and executing on initiatives to help support our business customers with their home lending needs.

Do Work That Matters

As Team Manager 3rd party banking, you will lead a team of bankers from the pre-deal support and Case Management teams, in addition to team members involved in initiatives to support the home lending requirements of our business customers.

More specifically, you will:

  • Provide high calibre customer service to Business customers, to help us achieve our goal of being No. 1 in client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities and provide solutions to meet the Home Lending needs of our existing customers.
  • Assess risk on new lending and risks associated with increases in client credit.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to pre-deal and case management teams
  • Work closely with Business Banking segments and Retail Bank to deliver a best in class Home Lending customer experience for self-employed customers referred via 3rd party channels
  • Inspire your team to achieve excellent customer service and achieve operational excellence by leading, modelling and coaching team members
  • Have responsibility over managing resources (people and budget) to deliver on ambitious business outcomes within a values driven culture
  • Promote and develop the CommBank brand across the state as an integrated financial services provider

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • People leadership experience with ability to develop, coach and nurture high-performing teams
  • You live and breathe One CommBank and our sales and service culture, and can continue to embed and promote this approach in your work and through your people
  • Experience working in 3rd party Home Loan environment, particularly an understanding of the home loan cycle for self employed customers (including CCL)
  • Proven success in operational and sales leadership with strong understanding of home buying sales cycle for business customers
  • Demonstrated exceptional internal and external stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
  • Experience working in 3rd party home lending environments is desirable, particularly the management/oversight of self employed applications
  • Previous experience in Business Banking sales leadership role
