Temenos Wealth Platform Product Owner


You will join our exciting Wealth Platform Transformation program, as we embark on our journey to build an innovative and future ready Wealth Platform that will help us meet our customer’s needs. You will work in a multi-talented, diverse team in a fast-paced and challenging Agile environment.

In this role, you will work alongside the Chief Product Owner, Chief Scrum Master, core Platform Transformation team and Wealth capability product owners with a key focus on owning and driving the architecture and infrastructure vision for the Temenos WealthSuite platform.

Your role will support a complementary Agile team of engineers to support and exceed the expectations of our Wealth business.

We will need you to manage the Temenos WealthSuite Platform enhancements, as well as on-going platform upgrades and maintenance. At the same time you will own the architecture, infrastructure vision and roadmap of the platform.

This is a highly collaborative role working very closely with the vendor (Temenos) and internal business stakeholders such as Chief Product Owner, Chief Scrum Master, Architects, Engineers, Scrum teams, senior business and technical stakeholders.

You key responsibilities will be:

  • manage internal business and technical stakeholders
  • identify, refine and prioritise items, ensuring the value of the work the team delivers, and ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear
  • accountable for maximising the value of the work done by the team
  • backlog Refinement at both Feature and Story level
  • iteration Planning and Prioritisation ensuring a constant flow of “Ready” user stories for sprints
  • assisting in writing and developing acceptance criteria, accepting stories
  • participate in team reviews (demos) and retrospectives
  • building key relationships across the Macquarie BFS
  • promote agile behaviours and mind set

Your technical background will include:

  • strong technical understanding of Temenos WealthSuite platform (TAP, T24 & TDS) and the ability to assess and challenge Temenos on technical solutions
  • strong senior stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • agile project experience as a product owner
  • ability to think strategically and articulate a clear vision
  • experience with Application design & architecture
  • good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
  • deep understanding of software development best-practices
