Technical Lead ITSM - Solution Designer

We are seeking a Technical Lead/ Service Management specialist to join our Enterprise Services team to assist with the design, development and support of Macquarie's Service Management applications. This is an excellent opportunity for you to shape and drive relationships with our key stakeholders (Internal & External) to deliver the best value and technology solutions globally within the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design consultancy for any project impacting the service
  • Develop enhancements and provide ongoing operational support to the Service Management toolset
  • Assist with Service Strategy and Service Roadmap Development which includes migration of infrastructure to Public/Private cloud offerings
  • Define and govern Service Design principles and take ownership of solution design
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in Computer Science or similar and have experience in working in complex environments and have proven experience in working closely with technology vendors as well as possessing a strong ability to connect the dots. You will also have applied knowledge of layered architectures, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems with the ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment

  • An excellent understanding of Service Management disciplines including Change, Incident & Problem management as it applies to a large corporate environment
  • Ability to design and develop dynamic Service Request templates
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across both internal and external parties
  • Experience in Public/Private cloud environments
  • Experience within a Financial Services institution highly desirable
