Talent Consultant - Flexible working environment
An opportunity has arisen within the Global Talent team for an enthusiastic and motivated Consultant to support the delivery of talent management practices within the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS). Working closely with the Talent Lead, you will play a key role in driving BFS’ junior talent strategy by project managing talent and organisational development initiatives such as Graduate and Junior Talent development programs bringing new thinking and innovation into these existing structures. You will also have the opportunity to support the delivery and execution of core people initiatives and new programs. This role provide a great opportunity to take ownership of high visibility initiatives and excellent in-role development opportunities.
Being aligned with BFS, you will play a key role in the growth and transformation of the business within a purpose-centred, agile and digital environment. Your ability to execute strongly, gain insights to drive continuous improvement and influence stakeholders will be critical to your success.
We ask that you demonstrate an understanding of core talent programs, knowledge of adult learning principles and hold relevant tertiary qualifications with strong organisational abilities, analytical skills, relationship building and written communication skills. With an enthusiastic and professional manner, you will have experience delivering talent management processes, as well as a track record of excellent service delivery.

You will need to be highly self-motivated, able to demonstrate a proven and successful record of delivery, collaboration and influence within a fast-paced, high-performing, matrixed environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, project management skills and a natural ability to engage at all levels are essential; being able to generate commercial and people insights to and make recommendations for change are necessary to work effectively with key stakeholders. Exposure within an environment experiencing digital, technological or market disruption will be an advantage.
