Superannuation Compliance Officer, Service Sales Centre and Operations - Sydney

The Super Compliance & Projects team is responsible for the quality assurance of systems and processes across wrap, retail and Insurance service and operations teams as well as regulatory reporting for our superannuation products. The team has members in the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane offices and is in regular contact with stakeholders including Risk Management Group, Legal and Product and Projects.

The primary function of this role is to review and monitor the technical and legal compliance of processes and procedure throughout the Investment Operations and Services teams covering Investor Directed Portfolio Service (IDPS) and super products, completion of regulatory reporting and application of Subject Matter Expert knowledge in various projects.  There is a strong emphasis on quality within the team to ensure we are and continue to be compliant, while enhancing performance and service excellence across Service Sales Centre & Operations (SSC&O)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional client experience when reviewing clients requests
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure quick and accurate resolution
  • Examine existing procedures and provide feedback regarding process improvements
  • Address re-occurring issues, initiate system validations and changes and assist with their resolution and documentation
  • Provide assistance with complex problem resolutions, ad hoc enquiries and amendments
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of technical aspects of core and specialised wrap, retail and IDPS products.
  • Assist and co-ordinate IDPS and Super product statement checking
  • Contribute and review business requirements, test plans for system changes and liaise with other SSC&O and project teams for input.
  • Maintain the integrity of our relationships with advisers and clients to solidify the success of SSC&O
  • Ensure completion of relevant regulatory reporting for our superannuation and pension products
  • Drive and project manage with end to end accountability various projects and pieces of work relating to the teams functions.
