As a Software Engineer you will have end-to-end responsibility for building the Global Quant software platform using C# and SQL Server along with R. Interacting with Quant Analysts, it’s an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer/Developer wishing to apply their coding skills and commercial mindset directly to business problems. Whilst financial markets experiences is not essential, a genuine interest is required and candidates who have worked with financial markets data will be looked on favourably.
With a minimum of 3 years’ software engineering experience, you’ll possess very strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of data structures and software design. You’ll be adaptable with considerable initiative and enjoy a high-performance environment. You will have tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline. A stable, yet progressive work history to date as a Developer and excellent communication skills are key requirements. You will have strong experience in OO design, C#, SQL and tools such as GIT, Jira and TeamCity.
