Senior IT Project Manager


Reporting to the Head of Finance and Head of Technology – Finance, Operations and Risk, and the group’s Head of Finance, this is a significant role responsible for the replacement of Macquarie’s Peoplesoft General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Fixed Assets applications as part of our Financial Management Groups Transformation Program.

Working closely with the Program director, the Technology Project Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of the ERP replacement program

The key responsibilities of this role include the ownership of the Technology program structure and establishment of the team. In addition, you will have ownership of the Vendor relationships from a technology perspective

You will be driving the technology streams to deliver on their objectives and effectively manage program dependencies from initiation through to implementation and archiving of the legacy platform. In this position, you will work with a globally dispersed business and technology teams and negotiate with them to allocate time to the program if their interfaces are impacted or need to be tested.

This is a senior project management role where you will have ownership of the Technology program budget and act as the key technology point of contact for both the business and Technology Leadership.

Your technical skills will include:

  • previous successful GL Transformation program experience with either Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, or PeopeleSoft 9.2
  • experience with the implementation of SaaS solutions and associated internal and external regulatory approvals desirable
  • excellent financial management skills
  • strong stakeholder management skills across Business, IT, Risk, Finance, Vendor Management, and Legal stakeholders.
