Senior Exchange/ Office 365 Messaging & Collaboration Tools Architect


You’ll be responsible for the architecture and engineering of mission critical messaging and collaboration systems for Macquarie, working with business and technology stakeholders to shape the future of Macquarie’s digital workplace.

We need a motivated and driven team player to join our Workplace Technology team.  Your focus will be on designing, configuring, deploying and supporting Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, VERITAS Enterprise Vault, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, iManage Work and Workplace by Facebook according to business needs, working with vendors and internal teams.

Your previous experience in technology design role provides the foundation for you to step-up in responsibility, as this is an excellent opportunity to further your technology career.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • working with vendors and multiple internal technology teams such as networks, hosting, cloud & security to design and implement messaging and collaboration solutions
  • technical delivery of project-based work
  • support of production messaging and collaboration systems.

It is expected that to be successful you will bring the following key skills:

  • 10 years’ experience designing and supporting Microsoft technologies including Exchange, SharePoint, VERITAS Enterprise Vault and Symantec.cloud
  • expert knowledge of Office 365 and Workplace by Facebook
  • expert understanding of related Enterprise technologies such as networking, servers, virtualisation
  • exhibit technical credibility with your quality verbal and written communications skills
  • technical writing for solution design documents.
