We are looking for a driven team player to be part of the Global Data Centre Management team whose responsibility is the provision of suitable environments to host IT Infrastructure in Macquarie Data Centres and Communication rooms globally in line with established standards.
As a member of the team, you will be expected to have solid Cable management & design experience and / or can read Statement of Works & Architectural plans to assist with build outs, ensuring all work adheres with current global standards and best practice operational processes in order to provide reliable build, operation, maintenance and inventory outcomes in accordance with business based requirements.
Fantastic opportunity to drive our datacentre vendor management relationships, and be an integral part of our boarder strategy in migrating our infrastructure to private cloud and managed data centres. You will be required to have excellent relationship management expertise and experience in design and implementation of data centre projects.
This key role is ideal for flexible self-starters who are customer-focused, have excellent communication skills and are team players. We will regularly rely upon your knowledge in data centre and effective communication skills to ensure that activities are properly managed and completed. You will have an understanding of ITIL and formal change management processes, exposure to incident reporting, management and escalation and ideally be qualified to degree level with a history in Financial Facilities.
