SAM Engineer


Join a highly collaborative environment and help deliver a world class Software Asset Management (SAM) System.

As a SAM Engineer, you will drive the technology behind our SAM system to help establish it as a mature and automated service.

Providing support and maintenance for the SAM Platform, you’ll work closely with our licence and Vendor Management teams. Utilising your exceptional stakeholder management skills, you’ll liaise with various product owners to capture requirements and assist in the on-boarding of Software vendors onto the platform.

The role demands a strong background in SAM with exceptional analytical and technical skills. Ideally, you’ll be a self-starter with exceptional detail focus and the ability to solve complex problems. You’ll have a passion for working with data, with knowledge in SAM processing and performing end-to-end reconciliations.

Your technical proficiencies will include:

  • experience managing IBM iLMT platform
  • prior experience managing a SAM platform (Aspera SmartTrack, Flexera or SNOW
  • understanding of Asset Discovery tools and data feeds
  • familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as Cloud, CMWare, VDI and Citrix)
