Sales Team Leader - Personal Banking Direct

Join our Direct Sales team which is currently experiencing growth and expansion, and over the last two years has doubled sales volumes and quadrupled the size of the team.

In this phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join us to lead a team of Lending Specialists and Sales Support Officers to help drive continued growth through our Direct-to-Consumer channel.

You will be part of a high performing leadership team, and will work closely with our Team Leaders looking after Referrals distribution, Lending Associates and Sales Engagement.

You will create a high performance culture, through providing regular coaching, driving team motivation, setting and achieving scorecard targets, as well as intensive on boarding of new team members.

As a subject matter expert in residential home lending, the credit team will lean on your judgement and you will work closely with them to identify credit knowledge gaps within the team. Your product and system knowledge will also allow you to identify and address process changes and improvements.

Finally, your strong customer experience focus will come in to play when monitoring call and file quality, identifying key moments of truth in customer interactions, and you will work closely with the Client Care team for any complaint and escalation management.

With at least 8 years’ of residential lending experience, you are comfortable in a sales environment and have communication skills that can be used to convey complex terms and matters in a clear and concise manner. You are a motivated manager, and eager to achieve team goals, in order to help the team grow professionally and personally.
