COG Resilience Project and Change Manager

In this role you will work as part of the fast-paced Corporate Operations Group Change Management team, to contribute to COG’s vision of Enabling the Entrepreneurial Enterprise.

Within the Resilience team you will work across the breadth of the Macquarie Group to assist in the delivery of an effective Resilience (business continuity) framework.  This aims to improve Macquarie’s ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from business disruptions when they occur.

Within this role, key responsibilities will include:

  • development of end to end change management documentation, including executive stakeholder analysis, detailed business impact assessments, and high level change delivery plans
  • planning of knowledge transfer requirements to ensure impacted stakeholders are able to adopt core changes from the introduction of the new systems, standards and the change is embedded within BAU processes post implementation
  • delivery of a comprehensive Resilience communication plan, and drafting of key project communication outputs – including working with the COG Communications team, Macquarie leaders, SMEs and technical experts and teams for key messaging cascade and change communication phasing outcomes
  • design and oversight of change management plans for execution by the global resilience team to those impacted by the change, to deliver leader alignment and workplace participation
  • design and content management of Resilience SharePoint, eLearning training and Resilience Awareness Week
  • benchmarking effectiveness of the resilience program in line with change objectives and identify refinement needs between the existing program and future business requirements
  • support business resilience operational activities particularly when responding to business disruptions

You will have experience leading change within a complex and fast-paced work environment. You will to able demonstrate a background in managing multiple stakeholders and driving quality outcomes. You will also have:

  • tertiary qualifications preferably in business and or change management
  • 5+ years experience gained in a similar position
  • proven hands-on, change delivery experience using best practice change management methodologies and tools
  • strong communication and knowledge transfer planning and delivery skills
  • ability to influence and establish credibility with stakeholders – and excellent interpersonal skills, establishing good working relationships with colleagues at all levels  
  • Business Continuity experience is preferable but not essential as can be learned in the role
