Product Owner – Identity Access Management


You will join our Identity Access Management (IAM) team, which is part of the broader Identity and Cyber Security department within the wider Technology division. The department is focused on preparing for, protecting against and responding to Cyber Security events.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • taking accountability and ownership of a Scrum team. This includes identifying, grooming and prioritising items in their backlog and ensuring delivery of business value is realised
  • determining the vision and roadmap in collaboration with the Chief Product Owner, other Product Owners and various stakeholders
  • participating in product increment scoping, planning and prioritisation activities. This includes writing and developing stories with acceptance criteria
  • ensuring the product backlog is visible, transparent and clear
  • appropriately manage risks, issues and dependencies between backlog items and multiple stakeholders
  • participating in all sprint ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews (demos) and retrospectives
  • driving an Agile mindset and practices in collaboration with Scrum Masters.

You will bring the following technical experience:

  • experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment
  • ability to think strategically and articulate a clear vision
  • strong problem solving and analytical skills, with good attention to detail
  • excellent communication (both written and verbal) and relationship management skills to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders
  • strong team player and collaborator
  • adaptable, resourceful and able to understand when it’s better to go for the quick win and when it’s better to drive through a comprehensive technical solution
  • self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed and provide excellent customer service
  • familiarity Identity Access Management (IAM) domain and concepts is desirable
  • knowledge or experience with IAM products (eg. CyberArk) is desirable.
