PeopleSoft Developer

We have a vacancy for a talented and enthusiastic PeopleSoft Technical Developer who wishes to be a part of delivering Business applications for our Business Services area.

The team is responsible for:

  • Managing Macquarie's technology infrastructure related to Business Services
  • Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing business systems
  • Delivering and deploying new systems, technologies and services

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing applications on the PeopleSoft AP platform
  • Working directly with technical staff and non-technical clients to develop business solutions
  • Following the full Software Development lifecycle to deliver solutions to clients
  • Adhering to standard change, development and quality assurance methodology and processes

Technically, the following skills are essential:

  • 10 years PeopleSoft development
  • 3+ years PeopleSoft Financials
  • Several years technical lead
  • PeopleSoft integration
  • Experience in putting together detailed design
  • Worked in project teams delivering applications through SDLC
  • Good relational database experience (Sybase)

The ideal candidate would also have:

  • 3+ years working with SaaS solutions
  • Integration solution design experience with SaaS solutions
  • Ability to communicate problems and solutions effectively with both business and technical colleagues (written and verbal)
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to understand when it's better to go for the quick win and when it's better to drive through a comprehensive technical solution
  • The ability to work well under pressure to complete tasks in a timely and accurate fashion - attention to detail is essential
  • An enthusiastic can-do attitude and a desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and issues
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
